ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF201: disassembly procedure and how to replace a camera

In this tutorial you'll learn how to disassemble tablet PC ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF201 and replace a non-working camera.
In the pictures we see a tablet with non-working rear camera.
Now it's time to disassemble.
Touch panel module
The illustrations below show how to remove the touch panel module from the Eee Pad TF201.
1. Lift up the pad to show 2 LCD cover latches.
2. Use tweezers to pull two latches toward the arrow direction until you see the white arrow inside.

3. Use disassembly tool (or guitar pick) to pry up the panel carefully.
4. Lift up the touch panel.
5. Push 'UP' to turn off the power button.
6. Turn over the touch panel and place it on the cover module as shown below.
7. Open the white latches to disconnect the touch panel FPC. Then open the black latch to disconnect the LVDS FPC.

8. Then separate the touch panel.
Battery
The illustrations below show how to remove the battery from the Eee Pad TF201.
1. Remove 8 screws located around the battery. Disconnect the battery cable.
2. Separate the battery.
Main board module
The illustrations below show how to remove the main board module on the Eee Pad TF201.
1. One by one remove the power board, LED board and IO board.
2. Remove 2 screws on the power board.
3. Disconnect the power board cable and put it aside.
4. Remove 1 screw and disconnect the LED board from the main board.

5. Remove 6 screws on main board and 2 on the dock connector.
6. Lift up to separate two CCDs.

7. Disconnect the speaker cable.
8. Separate the main board.

9. Turn over the main board. Tear off one tape on two CCD modules.

10. Lift up to disconnect 2 CCD modules from the main board.
Replace camera module and begin reverse order step-by-step reassembly procedure.
Tablet reassembly procedure
Assemble the device in the reverse order. This must be done carefully or you'll have to buy the touch screen again.
