Great guide! I successfully replaced the broken camera with a working OEM one I purchased from ebay. I highly recommend having a safe pry tool on hand to anyone doing this.

This worked great, thanks for the guide. Successful replacement of rear camera, no thanks to ASUS ridiculous warranty on both the tablet and the replacement camera they put in 13 mos ago.

Thanks for putting this out there. Very helpful!

At the moment I can't see it on ebay. It looks like there is a lack of the cameras.

If I use this procedure and replace the mainboard, will this fix a hard bricked TF201?

You probably updated a firmware on your device. Afterwards it became like this. The mainboard replacement will fix it. But, are you sure that the problem is in the mainboard?
